Volunteer Training Opportunity

Mountain Crisis Services provides VOLUNTEER TRAINING for Domestic Violence Advocate/Peer-counselor. Most training days will be held in the evenings during the week with all-day sessions weekends. Prospective volunteers must attend every training session in order to become eligible for the state certification. Following the training, volunteers must then complete at least 60 hours of ‘shadowing’ under the supervision of direct-service staff before they receive certificates of completion.

If you’re interested in applying for this training and in becoming a volunteer with Mountain Crisis Services, please go to Volunteer Application Form (Link opens a PDF document that needs to be printed and completed. The PDF is not currently screen reader friendly).  In order to participate in future trainings, please fill out an application and e-mail it to katy@alliance4you.org and she will contact you for a follow-up interview for future trainings.
