Since 2002 Mountain Crisis has offered Emergency Safe House. The housing shelters victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children. Participants who enter our emergency shelter can receive services such as case-management and developing a service plan concentrating on obtaining goals in self-sufficiency, increasing skills and/or income, and obtaining safe affordable permanent housing.
Participants attend individual counseling coupled with support groups on varying topics such as: life skills, domestic violence education, budgeting, drug and alcohol support, parenting, and co-dependency.
Eligibility Requirements:
“MCS provides hope, support, advocacy, and empowerment for those who are or who have been victims of intimate partner domestic violence and/or sexual assault.”
