The Counseling Department specializes in working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims/survivors. Counseling can take place on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting. The Counseling Department provides individual assessments and case management services to all victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault; individual, child, family and group counseling; referrals, support and advocacy with community agencies.
Safety planning for someone involved in an abusive relationship is a necessary and important step. Planning can be used while you are still with your abuser or after the relationship has ended. While still in an abusive relationship, your safety is of primary importance.
We also provide:
• Information on what your rights are as a victim.
• On call 24/7 to hospitals and the police station for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Information and referrals to other agencies
